20th July 2024 - Creative Workshops for adults with JP Kalonji
Graphite Fundamentals
Swiss artist JP Kalonji launched his global career, spanning New York, London, and Japan, before coming back to Geneva, his hometown. Known for his diverse talents in illustrations, paintings, and comics, he is a resident at the Museum of Art and History of Geneva. He frequently partners with prominent Swiss brands like Caran d’Ache and Nespresso, as well as collaborates with media outlets such as Le Temps and Tribune de Geneve. In his upcoming workshop, he’ll impart fundamental techniques of graphite drawing, enhanced with delicate watercolour touches. It is with the products of the renowned Maison Caran d'Ache that participants will be able to discover his art.

Techniques & Products
The century-old Swiss family company Caran d'Ache has teamed up with The Alpina Gstaad to offer you the finest fine art instruments. For this workshop, the artist and Caran d'Ache ambassador JP Kalonji will teach you how to use Technalo RGB graphite pencils and Museum Aquarelle, watercolors in pencil form whose pigments are released on contact with water.
