Quality Time

In 1864, A. W. Moore, a British mountaineer, set out to explore the Alps. Along his journey, Moore kept a journal. The natural surroundings that inspired him remain the same nearly 150 years later.

Today the true Gstaad is a place where those who embrace life’s fast pace can find the space to slow down. Located in Saanenland, this is a traditional village where artisans retain their classic skills and farmers live off the Alpine pastures.

Yet for all this tradition, Gstaad has excellent modern rail and road connections to Switzerland’s international airports of Geneva, Zurich and Bern. Saanen airport for small planes and helicopters is just a 10-minute drive from our hotel.
